Tonight's 60 Minutes highlights Sallie Mae, a once government and now private entity that administers student loans.
Among the people interviewed in the segment is the founder of this site: Student Loan Justice. Harvard bankruptcy professor Elizabeth Warren is also interviewed
Remember, there's no relief and there is no fresh start for the vast majority of people burdened by student loans. It's easier to discharge almost all other debt, than it is to discharge a student loan.

I saw the 60 minutes piece last night and it further reinforces the economic realities that are engendered by large corporate donations through lobbyists. The practice of paying for legislative considerations is tantamount to economic blackmail on the working class and both parties have seemed to lost sense of fair play and ethics when it comes to those worker bee’s that stoke the fires of our economic engine. The sad truth is Orwellian in nature and as long as money and political influence are tied to each other, we will just keep plodding along being fed our Soleint Green and waiting for the economic collapse that is sure to follow.
